About Us

Aluwani’s Maintecon was established in 2008 by Aluwani Amos Netshitungulu, our managing owner. Until 2012, we operated under the name Aluwani Plumbing Services. However, due to a new strategy and the addition of extra services, we decided to change our name to Aluwani’s Maintecon in order to reach a broader client base.

The name ‘Maintecon’ is a blend of the words ‘Maintenance’ and ‘Construction,’ reflecting the wide range of services we provide. Over the years, we have evolved from being a standard plumbing company to offering a diverse set of services to various clients, including homeowners, insurance providers, and businesses. Since our inception in 2008, our key clients have included Standard Insurance Limited, Hollard, and Digicall Assist.

Our sustained success can be attributed to our commitment to ethical service delivery, accountability, ongoing education, training, employee empowerment, competitive offerings, effective management, and fair, affordable pricing.

Our strength lies in our dedicated team members, our corporate partnerships, and our unwavering focus on continuous learning and improvement. We currently operate with seven teams deployed throughout the greater Johannesburg area. Each of these teams is led by three certified plumbers, all registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board, and one lead electrician who holds a Trade Test certification.”
